In this post, I’m going to talk about a day in the life of an entrepreneur on the Startup Bus. My name is Chris, and today’s my second day on the bus. On my first day, we visited some very exciting companies including Jet Blue Airways at JFK airport (if you haven’t been there yet – it’s really cool), PCMD Systems Inc., BIC Corp., T-Mobile USA LLC, Citigroup Incorporated

The “photo dump or photo dumps” is the third blog post in a series of posts about my time on the Startup Bus. The first blog post was about how I got on the bus, and the second one was about what it’s like to live on the bus. This third blog post will be about what happened when we took a dump.

This week, entrepreneur Zack Price is guest blogging aboard the 2013 StartupBus as it travels from Chicago to Austin for SXSW. On the StartupBus, a group of strangers has 72 hours to develop, create, and launch a company while traveling at 60 mph. Post #1 in this series can be found here, and Post #2 can be found here.

The first night, I didn’t sleep at all, and the following night, I slept for about 90 minutes. I’m too sleepy to write right now. Here’s a picture gallery. To examine a picture in more detail, just click or touch on it.

This is essentially everything I’ll need for this trip. I wanted to bring as little as possible because I wanted to be slim and mean. It was a rookie error. Particularly the 5 pound bag of sour gummi cherries.

SnufulupuBus, our bus. Colleen is the bus’s oldest passenger, therefore she has the option of sitting in the aisle.

Doyle, our bus driver, threatened to throw us off the bus if we didn’t pay him $1500 each window panel. (Dude, it’s only a dry erase marker.)

My new best friends… The Startup Brothers (The Startup Bros) are a group of entrepreneurs that started their own They may have a few years on me, but I have a few inches on them. You can’t teach someone how to stand tall. We’re going to make podcasts together, and it’ll be fantastic.

Will, half of my new BFF, enjoys cigars, chips con queso, and talking about the worth of precious metals. I’m in the same boat.

He knows more about economics than I do, despite the fact that I have a college diploma.

Kyle offered me a last-minute suggestion before I went on stage, which I utilized, and the crowd loved it.

That’s why we have brothers.

Tatiana Bakaeva is not only the “boss” of CareerMob, but also the mascot of DrunkSpotting.com, a StartupBus spin-off. Talk about a well-balanced investment portfolio.

With her, I believe I took the first drunkspotting picture. Erica Swallow’s handwriting had a sharpie odor that I could still smell. I wasn’t poking my nose where it didn’t belong, mind you.

Last but not least, there’s the eLance team — Alex Yoon and Megan Gebhart. Megan, I told her, reminded me of Lisa Loeb. She was irritated at first, but she eventually accepted the similarity. What are your thoughts?

Aren’t these strange times? What does it matter? Don’t forget… We’re all strange. But I’m exhausted. Next time, there will be more.
